The way things turn out to be
8 cousins, from 5 families.
2 grew up with parents who struggled with mental illness.
5 grew up to become parents themselves.
There are 2 stay-at-home moms, a lawyer, an English professor, a building contractor, a realtor, a physiotherapist, an administrator, a daycare provider, an office manager.
5 inherited the mental illness genes.
2 grew up urban, 6 rural.
As adults, 4 were rural, 4 urban.
One has lost both parents, another a mother.
One has died.
This is the way things turned out.

its like sudoku or something. I'm trying to figure out who the two stay at home moms are... are we including their spouses in this? or are some of us mentioned twice, as in "daycare provider" AND SAHM?
and who is the guy beside ken?
The guy beside Ken is Randy. I haven't talked about any spouses, and some people are multi-taskers with multiple jobs, so they are mentioned twice.
don't you love the dresses?!
I do love the dresses. I also love that we are all wearing identical shoes and white tights.
White leotards and black patent Mary Janes. Isn't that the stamp of an era?
Great photo.
Carol, so well worded. Thanks. Love it!
Hey, this is a nice side benefit to having said farewell to one of us....we get to review all these old photos and such. This is a good one. We look great, eh? Yea, I like the shoes too, and here I've got great legs. This is good.
